Power™
How Power™ Works at Emily's
On a Power seat, you can adjust the footrest and backrest electrically using the buttons on the side. For the straight 2-seater, you can choose from P+P, P+F, F+P, or F+F.
The difference between the Emily and the Mary and Anna models lies in the headrest: on the Emily, it is electrically adjustable for every seat, even if the seat itself is fixed.
The Emily is also available online as a 2-seater with a Long Seat (M or L, left or right) and as a curved 3-seater, with a fixed center section. If your sofa isn't near a power outlet, add one battery per sofa.

All three are electric seats with Power™, and you can choose whether each seat is electrically adjustable. The differences lie in the configurations, the headrests, and the seats.
The Emily is the only one of the three that you can also configure online with a Long Seat or as a curved 3-seater, and the headrest is power-adjustable in every seat. The Mary has a deeper seat (59 cm) and a higher back. The Anna has a sleeker look, a seat depth of 54 cm, and requires only 6 cm of clearance from the wall.

Corner Setup
Long Seat, Curved or Corner Sofa
You can easily customize a 2-seater with a Long Seat (M or L) and the curved 3-seater online. The Long Seat offers a seat depth of up to 128 cm, so you can stretch out your legs.

The Emily is the right choice for you if you want plenty of options for layout and finishes: a straight sofa, a Long Seat, or a curved 3-seater, with metal, wood, or wide armrests. The headrests are electrically adjustable in every seat.
It’s not the best choice if you’re looking for a simple, straight Power sofa with a deeper seat (in that case, check out the Mary), have limited space behind the sofa (the Anna), or don’t need electric adjustment (in that case, check out the fixed sofas Fiona and Flora).

A 1-seater Power starts at €2,855 instead of €3,359, and a 3-seater P+F+P starts at €6,748 instead of €7,939. The optional battery now costs €304 instead of €338.

What does "Power" mean for the Stressless® Emily?
On a Power seat, you can adjust the footrest and backrest electrically using the buttons on the side.
Can I combine fixed and electric seats?
Yes. For the standard 2-seater, you can choose from P+P, P+F, F+P, or F+F. P stands for a Power seat, and F stands for a fixed seat.
Is the headrest on the Emily electric?
Yes. In the Emily, the headrest on every seat is electrically adjustable, even on fixed seats.
Is the Emily model available with a long seat?
Yes. Online, you can combine a 2-seater with a Long Seat M or L, on the left or right side.
Is there a curved Stressless® Emily?
Yes. Online, you can configure the curved 3-seater as P+A+P, P+A+F, or F+A+P. The middle seat is a fixed seat with an electric headrest.
How big is the Emily?
The Emily is 87 to 100 cm tall, depending on the position of the headrest. It is 111 cm deep and 174 cm deep when reclined. The seat height is 45 cm and the seat depth is 58 cm.
How deep is the Long Seat on the Emily?
The Long Seat has a seat depth of up to 128 cm; when reclined, the bench is 184 cm deep.
What kind of armrests does the Emily have?
You can choose from metal in chrome or matte black, wood in 8 wood finishes, or a wide upholstered armrest on 8-cm-tall round legs in wood or chrome. The price is the same.
How wide is the Stressless® Emily?
With metal armrests, the 1-seater is 96 cm wide, the 2-seater is 172 cm wide, and the 3-seater is 248 cm wide. A 2-seater with a Long Seat is 248 cm (M) or 282 cm (L), and the curved 3-seater is 252 cm. With wooden armrests, the width increases by 2 cm; with wide armrests, it increases by approximately 25 cm.
Can the Emily be used without a nearby electrical outlet?
Yes. With the optional battery (€304 instead of €338, one per bench), the Power features work even without a nearby outlet.
Is the Emily also available as a corner sofa?
Yes. Corner sofas and larger sets are available; we'll help you put them together in our stores, and you can't order them through the online configurator.
How is the Emily delivered?
Shipping is free in Belgium and the Netherlands, with a delivery time of 8 to 12 weeks. Custom-made items cannot be returned.
