Seats with the Plus™ System
The Plus™ system is based on the same principle you're familiar with from Stressless recliners, but built into a sofa. When you lean back, the seat tilts with you, and the system automatically adjusts the support for your lower back and neck.
The result: you sit just as upright as you would in a relaxed TV-watching position, without having to adjust the cushions or look for a lever.
How the Plus™ System Works
The seat contains a mechanism that connects the backrest and the lumbar support. The further you lean back, the better it supports your lower back. For your neck, you can choose between an active position and a resting position.
Each seat operates independently. So whoever is sitting next to you won't move along with you when you lean back.

Which Plus™ model is right for you?
Wave features a soft, undulating silhouette and the widest selection of legs: round wooden or steel legs in 8, 11, or 14 cm, tapered wooden legs, or a curved chrome leg. Arion has a sleeker design with hidden stitching and is available exclusively at Stressless Store.
Buckingham and Windsor are the same classic sofa with exposed woodwork. Buckingham has a wider seat (2-seater, 166 cm wide), while Windsor has a slightly narrower one (149 cm). Sapphire has a high back and is also available in different combinations.

With Wave and Arion, you can create a home theater setup: a row of seats with the Plus™ system, separated from one another by a Sector element—which can be a divider table or a divider armrest.
This way, each viewer has their own armrest and a place to set a drink or the remote control, and everyone can lean back independently.

Fixed Seating with ComfortZones™
Not everyone wants a sofa that reclines. Fiona and Flora don't have a reclining mechanism, but they're still noticeably more comfortable than a regular sofa thanks to their ComfortZones™ cushions.
Both are part of the Stressless Essentials collection: you can customize them online as 1-, 2-, or 3-seaters at a starting price valid through December 31, 2026.
How ComfortZones™ Work
The seat cushion is softer at the back than at the front. When you sit down, this causes the cushion to tilt slightly backward, so you naturally assume a comfortable position and your legs remain well supported.
Since nothing moves, the line remains clean and sleek. Perfect if you want your sofa to double as a design piece in your home.

Electric Sofas with Power™
With Anna, Emily, and Mary, you can adjust your seat with the push of a button. The footrest slides out, the backrest reclines, and you’re completely relaxed—without having to exert any effort yourself.
You can choose whether each seat is power-adjustable. So a two-seater with one power-adjustable seat and one fixed seat is perfect if you like to recline and your partner prefers to sit upright.
How Power™ Works
The controls are located on the side of the seat. Use the buttons to motorizedly adjust the footrest and the angle of the backrest to the position that feels right for you. The person sitting next to you won't even notice.
The main difference between the three models lies in the headrests. In the Emily, the headrests are power-adjustable in every seat, including the fixed seats. In the Anna, the headrests are power-adjustable in the Power seats and manually adjustable in the fixed seats. In the Mary, the headrests in the Power seats are controlled separately, with two dedicated buttons.

Anna, Emily, or Mary?
Anna has the lightest look, with a slender back and a choice of three armrests: A1 (narrow), A2 (wider), and A3 (with a wood finish). Emily has a sleeker design and is available with metal, wood, or wide upholstered armrests, and even as a curved 3-seater.
Mary has the deepest seat of the three (59 cm) and armrests that are either fully upholstered or finished in wood. A great choice if you like to sit deep and snug.
- Anna: seat depth 54 cm; a 6 cm clearance from the wall is sufficient
- Emily: seat depth 58 cm, also available with Long Seat (M) or (L)
- Mary: seat depth 59 cm, available as a 1-, 2-, or 3-seater

Benches with BalanceAdapt™
Stella and Ella are soft, contemporary sofas that respond to your every movement. You barely notice it, but you’re never sitting still in one spot—and that’s what keeps you relaxed.
Ella is available exclusively at Stressless Store. It has the same dimensions and construction as Stella, with its own seat and cushions.
How BalanceAdapt™ Works
The seat is supported by a mechanism that gently sways with your movements. Whether you lean back, lean forward, lie down, or curl up your feet, the seat adjusts accordingly. Those small movements create a sense of balance.
If at any point you'd prefer a fixed bench, you can easily lock the feature in place.

Create your own Stella or Ella
You choose the seat width (1-, 1.25-, 2-, 2.5-, 3-, or 3.5-seater), the armrest, and the legs. Armrest S1 is lower (58 cm), S2 is slightly higher (64 cm). With a corner unit and a Long Seat, you can create a spacious corner sofa, and all corner configurations are reversible.
The seat height is 44 cm. If you'd like to sit a little higher, there's a 3-cm riser kit available.

What should you look for when choosing a sofa?
A sofa should fit both your body and your living room. These four measurements determine whether you'll still be comfortable after an hour.
Seat Height
The sofas in this overview have a seat height ranging from 43 to 46 cm. If you have trouble standing up, you should choose a higher seat. For the Stella and Ella models, you can do this with a 3-cm riser kit.
Space in front of the bench
An electric sofa extends to a depth of about 1.7 m when reclined. So be sure to measure not only the width of your wall, but also the clearance to your coffee table.
Distance from the wall
BalanceAdapt™ requires 11 cm behind the seat, or 19 cm with a headrest. For Anna, 6 cm is sufficient. Fiona and Flora do not move and do not require any additional space.
Back height
A high back (101 to 103 cm on the Wave, Buckingham, Windsor, and Sapphire models) provides support all the way up to your neck. A low back with a separate headrest, such as on the Stella model, creates a lighter look in the room.
