Plus™ System
The Windsor moves with you when you lean back
The Plus™ system works based on your own movements. When you lean back, your seat tilts with you, and the support for your lower back and neck is automatically adjusted.
It doesn't require a motor, buttons, or levers. The system operates entirely mechanically as you change your sitting position.
Each seat operates independently. So when you lean back, the seat next to you continues to move on its own.

Choose the wood color for your Windsor
The exposed woodwork is a defining feature of the Stressless® Windsor’s classic look. It is crafted from beech wood.
You can choose from 8 wood finishes: oak, teak, walnut, brown, smoked oak, gray, wenge, and black. This allows you to coordinate the wood with your chosen fabric or leather color and with your interior.

Stressless® Windsor or Buckingham?
Windsor and Buckingham follow the same classic design, featuring a high back, visible beech wood, and the Plus™ system. Both offer a choice of the same 8 wood colors.
The difference lies in the width of the seat. The Windsor has a medium-width seat and is therefore more compact: the two-seater is 149 cm wide, compared to 166 cm for the Buckingham, and the three-seater is 204 cm wide, compared to 230 cm.

The Windsor is the right choice for you if you're looking for a sofa with a high back, exposed woodwork, and the Plus™ mechanical system. Thanks to its medium-width seat, it's also a great option if you want a classic look but prefer to keep the overall width modest.
It’s not the best choice if you’re specifically looking for a wider seat—in that case, check out the Buckingham. If you’re looking for a sleeker Plus™ sofa with hidden stitching, take a look at the Arion; for a softer, flowing silhouette and a choice of different legs, there’s the Wave.
