The price list shows only gross prices. What you ultimately pay depends on three factors.
The gross price
The price list shows the manufacturer's suggested retail price from Ekornes, including VAT. This is a guide price: each dealer sets its own selling price. Current promotions and discounts are not included in this price.
Promotions and Our Discount Policy
We often have special offers. In addition, we have our own discount policy: in our online store, models available for online purchase are listed at 10% below the suggested retail price as standard.

Pricing Structure
What determines the price of a Stressless?
Prices can vary significantly even within a single model. Here are the four options that make all the difference.
The upholstery
Stressless offers six price groups: fabric group 1, fabric group 2, Dinamica fabric or Batick leather, and the Paloma, Velaro, and Noblesse leathers. Example of the Mayfair with a Classic base and footstool:
- €2,429 Fabric, Grade 1
- €2,709 Fabric, Grade 2
- €2,989 Dinamica/ Batick
- €3,289 Paloma
- €3,399 Velaro
- €3,959 Noblesse
The Chassis
A Signature or Cross base costs €350 more than the Classic base. For the Berlin, London, and Tokyo models, the price is the same for Star and Cross, and for high or low backrests.
Electric controls
A Power chair costs €600 more than the same chair with a Classic base and footrest. The battery for cordless use is an optional extra that costs €338.
With or without a footstool
The ottoman accounts for about 15% of the set's price. The size of the chair (S, M, or L) does not affect the price.

Do the prices in the Stressless price list include sales tax?
Yes. All prices in the price list and on this page include 21% VAT.
Do I pay the price listed in the price list?
Usually not. The price list shows gross prices, excluding current promotions and our store's discount policy. Ask us for the price of the model you want—that way, you'll know exactly what you're paying.
How does your price guarantee work?
If you find the exact same Stressless (same model, size, base, and upholstery) for a lower price elsewhere, we’ll adjust our price. To do so, we’ll need a quote from the other seller: please show it to us in the store or include it with your request.
Do all Stressless dealers charge the same prices?
No. The price list contains the manufacturer's suggested retail prices. Each dealer is free to set its own selling price. That is precisely why we offer a price guarantee.
How much does a Stressless recliner cost?
The suggested retail price for a Stressless recliner with a footstool starts at €1,699 in 2026 (Consul, in fabric). The electric Adam starts at €3,799. Prices for the Batick leather version are 20 to 25% higher than for Group 1 fabric models.
How much does a Stressless sofa cost?
A two-seater starts at a suggested retail price of €2,459 (Fiona and Flora, starting price for fabric upholstery). Models with power seats, such as Mary, Emily, and Anna, start at €5,069.
Until when is this price list valid?
The price list is effective as of March 1, 2026. Stressless typically updates its prices once a year. As soon as a new list is available, you’ll find it on this page.
