What is a Stressless office chair?
A Stressless Home Office chair is a Stressless dining chair (Mint, Laurel, Bay, or Vanilla) mounted on a swivel base with five casters and a gas lift. The seat height adjusts from approximately 43 to 55 cm, and the base is available in chrome or matte black. The seat and back move with your body. You can order it online at Stressless Store, with free delivery in the Netherlands.

Are you placing an order on behalf of your company? If so, you can do so with 0% VAT.
All prices on our site include 21% VAT. If you’re a Dutch company with a valid VAT identification number, we can invoice your order as an intra-Community supply with 0% VAT under the legal conditions. Buying a Stressless Office Chair: Your Questions
How much does a Stressless office chair cost in the Netherlands?
With us, you pay the same price in the Netherlands as in Belgium, including VAT and free shipping. You can see the starting price for each model above. The price depends on the backrest (high or low), the armrests, and the upholstery. If you’re ordering through your business, you can get 0% VAT.
Does a Stressless Home Office chair have casters?
Yes. The Home Office base has five casters and a gas lift. Using a lever under the seat, you can adjust the seat height between approximately 43 and 55 cm. The base is available in chrome or matte black, at the same price.
Is a Stressless chair suitable for working in all day?
Honest answer: not for everyone. A Stressless Home Office chair is incredibly comfortable and moves with you, but it doesn’t have adjustable armrests or seat depth like a technical office chair. If you type for eight hours a day at a fixed desk, a fully adjustable ergonomic office chair is often the better choice. If your work involves a mix of tasks—such as making calls, reading, and meeting with others—or if your workspace is in the living room, then a Stressless is an excellent choice.
What's the difference between this and a regular ergonomic office chair?
A classic office chair is adjusted using levers: seat depth, armrests, and back tension. A Stressless Home Office chair is adjusted to the correct height once, and then it moves with your body (Balance&Glide™). It looks more like a designer chair than office furniture, so it fits right into a living room or open kitchen.
What sizes are available for Stressless office chairs?
The Home Office chairs are approximately 72 cm wide and deep. With a low back, they are 87 to 99 cm high; with a high back, they are 100 to 112 cm high, depending on the seat height setting. The Bay model is available only with a low back.
Can I place an order for my business without paying VAT?
Yes. If you have a Dutch business with a valid VAT identification number—for example, a BV or a sole proprietorship that is subject to VAT—we can invoice you as an intra-Community supply with 0% VAT, subject to the legal conditions. Request a quote using the form; online payments always include VAT.
Is there also a Stressless recliner available as an office chair?
Yes. Many Stressless recliners are also available with an Office base featuring casters and a gas lift, such as the Erik and the Tokyo. This is an office chair with a headrest, ideal for thinking, reading, and making phone calls. Ask us which models you can order right away.
How soon will my office chair be delivered?
