Five table bases, one for each table
Wood goes well with a wooden table; metal has a lighter look. The swivel-seat D350 makes it easy to get in and out, even in a smaller dining room.

Buying Stressless dining chairs: your questions
How much does a Stressless dining chair cost in the Netherlands?
With us, you pay the same price in the Netherlands as in Belgium, per chair and including VAT. You can see the starting price for each model above. The price increases with a high back, armrests, leather, and the swivel D350 base. Delivery to the Netherlands is free, even if you order six or eight chairs.
Why is a Stressless dining chair more comfortable?
The seat and backrest move with you as you lean back or slide forward (Balance&Glide™). This keeps you moving and ensures you remain comfortable even after a meal. The seat height is 48 cm, slightly higher than that of many dining chairs, which makes it easier to stand up.
Which Stressless dining chair swivels?
All four models can be mounted on the swiveling D350 base, an aluminum star base that rotates 360°. If you choose the auto-return option, the chair will automatically swivel back toward the table after you stand up.
How many chairs fit around my table?
For a Mint chair with armrests, allow 58 cm of width per chair, and leave 30 to 40 cm of space behind the chair so you can stand up comfortably. At a 200 cm table, you can fit three chairs on each long side. Send us your table dimensions, and we’ll calculate it for you.
Can I combine different colors?
Yes. You can choose the upholstery and color for each chair. Mint and Vanilla in the same fabric but in two different colors, or chairs with armrests at the head of the table: you can include it all in a single order.
How soon will my dining room chairs be delivered?
Stressless manufactures your chairs to order in the upholstery of your choice. Please allow 8 to 12 weeks for delivery. We offer free home delivery anywhere in the Netherlands.
Can I try out the chairs first?
All four models, on different bases, are on display at a set table in our stores in Antwerp and Leuven. It takes about an hour to get to Antwerp from Breda. We can assist you remotely with photos and samples.
Can I place an order for my business without paying VAT?
Yes, for example, for a practice, office, or meeting room. If you have a valid Dutch VAT identification number, we’ll invoice you as an intra-Community supply, without Belgian VAT. Request a quote using the form.
